Ellie King – Photography Review

I am going to analyse and research the theme of sport photography, which is focused on the fans and true sprit of football. I will also try and add some of the other themes on my ‘mood board’, e.g. music, the beach, rugby; the overall uniting theme being sports and activities which can be enjoyed in leisure time.

I will take the use of colour and contrast and incorporate into my work, for example, I will use colour splash on to the fans to show that they are what football is all about and how the action on the pitch can effect how they feel throughout their day-to-day lives, because the football is so important to them.. I will photograph fans while celebrating or when they are annoyed after the other team has scored, angry when a referee makes a wrong decision or sad after they have lost.  I hope to capture the full range of emotions that sport, particularly football, can evoke.
